Sharmila is the Joint Director of Equality and Engagement for NHS Manchester Integrated Care Partnership and Manchester City Council.Sharmila has worked in a wide range of organisations and partnerships for over 25 years, tackling inequalities and promoting equity and human rights.

She has extensive expertise and experience of strategic and organisational development and management having successfully worked across organisations in the public and not for profit sector.
