This year’s theme for LGBTQ+ History month is Science & Innovation, and at Queerwell we are exploring what that means for our mental health, wellbeing, and a collective future.
Throughout the Month, we are inviting you to look back and learn, and think forward to create a better future for us all:
What can we learn from those who have lived through 60 years of being Queer?
How do we nurture hope, joy, and resilience for the generations still to come?
From storytelling with the incredible elder members of the Brixton Umbrella Circle, to our Queer Hope & Joy project with Cambridge University Craftivism Society, we will be creating spaces to reflect, connect, and imagine together.
8th February 1pm-4pm: At Sunday Sanctuary (London)
Create your own bunting panel with a message of hope for the next generation of our community — a collective act of care, creativity, and vision - which will be shared and displayed nationally.

Through readings, guided reflection, and storytelling with each other, we will explore the moments that shaped us, and the joy of still being here. Come ready to listen, laugh, and share your story in a safe space. This session is a love letter to elder-hood, encouraging us to celebrate our power, wholeness, and queerness.
This History Month at Queerwell is about intergenerational learning, shared joy, and strengthening our wellbeing together.
