SUNDAY SANCTUARY

Step into a warm, welcoming physical space created by and for LGBTQIA+ people to nourish your mental wellbeing.

Coach, therapist and facilitator led workshops on everything from building resilience to ageing.

• Creative and fun playshops to help you restore or rebuild your mental wellness from mindfulness with
  puppies to storytelling.

• Peer support groups provided by local groups and charities.

• Expert-led discussions on issues which impact our community and mental wellness

A place to unwind, meet friends, and leave restored.
Just 5 minutes from Finsbury Park Station at Highbury Counselling Centre, N4 and coming soon to Manchester in autumn.

                           Q-Time

Queerwell's live digital mental health and wellbeing programme for LGBTQ+ adults (18+) across the UK. A live online space where you can join workshops, playshops, and discussions.

• Join us for coach, therapist and facilitator-led sessions designed to help you build the skills and strength to overcome challenges.

• A gentle mix of learning-based workshops, mindful and creativity playshops, discussion and community —  when you need it most.

• Access to a free digital resource hub, where you can download wellbeing tools and recordings of our most popular workshops.

A space to learn, reflect, connect, and feel supported - based on the belief that we all need to make Quality Time to nourish our mental health.

                               WELLNESS IN THE WORKSPACE

Nearly half of all UK LGBTQ+ professionals report a history of depression, resulting in 17.1 million lost working days due to work-related stress, depression, or anxiety in the UK in a single year according to The HR Director (HSE, 2023)

What is included?

Developed and delivered by qualified, accredited, and experienced coaches and therapists who have lived and learned    experience of the corporate, voluntary, and public sector.

• We offer therapy and coaching sessions, learning space workshops and webinars through which we will seek to explore and    support the wellness of your team within work and life with a focus on restoring or building better mental health. We offer    playshops too because we learn best and build belonging through play.

• We also offer these services as an LGBTQ+ specific employment assistance programme to sit alongside your main EAP offering.

Wellness in the Workplace helps:

• improve the wellness of your workforce, reduce absenteeism, improve retention and productivity by creating a supportive and       caring environment.

• provide therapy and coaching sessions, learning space workshops and webinars - all developed and delivered by qualified,       accredited, and experienced coaches and therapists who have lived and learned experience of the corporate, voluntary, and    public sector, our offer comprises affordable and culturally competent.

• provide a route to sustainability and independence for Queerwell through generating income to support our work long-term in the    community.

                             PLAYSHOPS

Spaces to experience therapy inspired activities including drama, art, storytelling, craft and even puppy mindfulness sessions.

Creative, interactive and joy-focused spaces for connection and wellbeing. The sessions focus on mindfulness and building a sense of belonging.

We deliver sessions in our Sunday Sanctuary space, online through our Q-Time project or across the country in your own or other people’s spaces.

                              THE LEARNING SPACE

Workshops that develop understanding and life skills to build resilience. Therapeutic, reflective, and skill-based spaces led by psychologists, therapists, or facilitators.

In our Learning Space workshops we help develop skills and techniques needed to be resilient, including body image, relationships, ageing and self-awareness.

These workshops are created and delivered by Coaches, Psychotherapists, Psychologists and experienced Facilitators. We deliver sessions in our Sunday Sanctuary space, online through our Q-Time project or across the country in your own or other people’s spaces
