Treat Yourself Well
We are excited to be part of the programming for a second year at BFI Flare at the British Film Institute, Southbank (BFI)
Come take part in free workshops and play shops on mental wellbeing, shared histories, community, and belonging during the festival.
We will be partnering with @OlderQueerVoice @RobynTalksTrans and @Cambridge_Craftivism_Society this year to deliver some wonderful experiences - bringing a huge dose of community, belonging, and wellness to the festival
Queer Hope and Joy. Come and join Queerwell’s Kindred Threads PlayShops led by Cambridge University’s Craftivism Society. Craft a bunting panel to inspire the next generation of LGBTQ+ generation. No experience needed. Connect, create, and be part of a national artwork.

Queer and Neurodiverse. A reflective, creative workshop exploring how queer and neurodivergent identities intersect. Led by Charlotte Chaney, offering gentle mapping, affirmation, and connection in an inclusive, LGBTQ+ informed space for curious minds.

Let’s Talk: An intergenerational Conversation. A discussion hosted by Older Queer Voices which explores care and housing through an intergenerational lens.
Featuring Dr Georgia Bowers and their film ‘Life House Project’
23rd March 4-5.30pm
Identity in Focus: A Trans Narrative. An intimate Queerwell conversation on trans women’s storytelling, identity, and resilience. Featuring Robyn Newark and filmmaker Morgana Steele, exploring gender affirmation, mental wellbeing, and lived experience through film and reflection.
