Paid Freelance Roles at Queerwell – start April

As part of our new digital service Q-Time we have two exciting news roles available.

Role 1: Digital Producer (Live Operations & Platforms)

Focus: This person will ensure the sessions run perfectly and the infrastructure is solid.

Estimated Allocation: £120 per day, 26 days (approx. 1 day per week).

Key Responsibilities

- Live Session Management: Provide technical productionfor Q-Time on Zoom, managing breakout rooms, spotlighting, and troubleshooting.

- Platform Oversight: Manage the "Secure Digita lHub" (resource library), ensuring recordings are edited for privacy anduploaded promptly.

- Web Administration: Maintain the CMS (Webflow), ensuring all event listings and resources are functional and accurate.

- Data & Governance: Track digital metrics (web visits, attendee data) and ensure all platform activity meets GDPR and safeguarding standards.

- Accessibility Lead: Technical implementation of alt-text, captions, and screen-reader-friendly document structures.

Ideal Candidate: Someone with a background in virtual events, operations, or web management who thrives on "the tech just working."

Role 2: Digital Content Creator (Social & Creative)

Focus: This person will ensure the brand is beautiful, engaging, and visible to the community.

Estimated Allocation: £120 per day, 26 days (approx. 1 day per week).

Key Responsibilities

- Brand Design: Lead on Canva design for social media,workshop slides, and promotional PDF resources.

- Video Storytelling: Film and edit high-impact,short-form organic video (interviews, "Saturdays with Queerwell," etc.) using smartphone tools.

- Organic Social Strategy: Plan and schedule content across platforms to drive awareness of Q-Time.

- Community Engagement: Manage social media interactions and comments within the charity’s safeguarding and tone-of-voice guidelines.

- Creative Support: Assist facilitators in turning theirraw workshop materials into visually engaging, brand-aligned presentations.

Ideal Candidate: A creative with a portfolio in graphic design and social media who understands the nuances of LGBTQ+ digital spaces.
