Find Your Joy: The Clowning Playshop

Is your inner critic working overtime? It’s time to give them the day off and let your Inner Clown take the stage.

We’re inviting you to a special two-hour Queerwell Playshop at Sunday Sanctuary - a space designed specifically for our 18-80+ LGBTQIA+ community to breathe, play, and connect. This isn't about circus tents or perfect punchlines; it's about the radical act of being authentically you.

Why Clowning for Wellbeing?

Clowning is a powerful tool for mental wellness. By embracing vulnerability and surreal play, we can bypass the anxieties that often hold us back. In this workshop, you’ll discover:

• Cathartic Connection: Use emotion and vulnerability to build a bridge between yourself and others.

• Creative Freedom: Whether it’s through face paint, skits, or lighthearted "circus tricks," we use play to find joy in the unexpected.

• Community Healing: This is a community-oriented learning space where we prioritise the feeling of clowning over technical performance.

"The core mission is to bypass anxiety and connect through a surreal sense of play and joy."
